jewish oil paintings, original oil paintings, jewish art
I was raised ultra- orthodox and grew up with many customs and traditions. The lives of religious Jews are infused with many daily rituals. This series explores Jewish objects and themes. The Hebrew text which is wood burned in the painting, references a verse from the bible which alludes to that ritual. I created the canvases out of wood and incorporated parts of the actual wood into the painting .

travels paintings

Over the years I have traveled to many places; this series is inspired by my travels and road trips. The paintings are small and intimate and painted with rich colors and textured paint. They are painted on thick wood pieces.

pastel flower drawings
My pencil drawings tend to differ from my paintings. I create many layers with the colored pencils, to build the drawing and details. The drawings are mounted  on foam and placed in hand built wooden frames.

flower paintings with sculptures

I built the canvases out of wood with an opening where a sculpture is integrated with the painting. The floral half is painted with lots of color while the other half is painted with minimal color, but added texture. Inside sits a sculpture that is harmonious with the painting. The sculptures are made out of clay, wood, and metal.

Floral Sculptural Paintings
Being fascinated with form, color and dimension, I created different canvas pieces that are 3- dimensional and includes an added floral piece inside the painting.
Surrealism Fruit
I am a Miami native and love the ocean. To me the ocean is soothing, breathtaking, and magnificent.

abstract paintings

A merging of color, space, shapes, and forms. Most of these pieces are explorations of my ideas. They do not represent anything.
